Description
This wheel building certifcation course has been adapted from Winterborne's Professional Bicycle Mechanic course. Bicycle mechanics are often challenged by the daunting task of building a  bicycle wheel set. Wheel building is a mechanically and technically challenging aspect of bicycle repair and maintenance. In this course, you will build three wheels (choice of Road, Mountain Bike or Track Wheel). The first wheel is considered a practice where students will build the proper skill foundation of wheel lacing, tensioning, and balancing techniques. The following two wheels, a front and a rear, will comprise a wheel set that you can take home and install on your own bike and keep. Class is held at Winterborne, #8-180 Southgate Dr., Guelph. For more information contact Sky Maracle at 905-975-5175 or winterbornebikes@gmail.com
